Mark Topics Read Button

Post by ladajo »

I just wanted to say that I am really liking the "Mark Topics Read" Button.
I am getting better and better at using it for a two fold purpose.
One is to help me manage what I have read and have no interest in reading.
The other is making sure I do not "read" posts/threads that I sense are pointless and thus giving them "credit" with incrementing the "views" counter with unintended hits.

To this end I have also noticed a trend to "camoflage" drug topic threads to sucker readers in and garner "hits". I am also getting smarter about skipping those as well.

I do wish there was a way to just permanently ignore a thread automatically. I have not figured that out yet.
I also still really wish there was a way to automatically block/ignore "spam" topics/posts from specific posters. Like MSimon and "Drugs".

It will come.

In other words all I have to do to keep you from reading something is to post it. Or post a comment to it.

Excellent!

You will probably have to stop posting on this thread now that I have "marked" it.

Simon,
Once again you miss the point. I have no desire to read nor participate in any more of your drug legalization free access for all fantasies. You just keep repeating the same nonsense over and over. I also do not want to 'validate' your behaviour by accruing 'view' counts on those threads or posts.

I am more than happy to talk tech stuff with you. But I have become utterly alienated with your constant thread jacking propaganda to legalize drugs. Take it somewhere else. It is sad that you have even felt of late the need to camoflage these threads and posts to trick folks into reading them. My default behaviour these days is to assess without looking, and if I smell a hint of drug fantasy, I will not click on it. I will make use of the "mark topics read button" once I have read other things I retain interest in.

I suspect I am not the only one you have alienated with this continued behaviour.

I would like to think I am reasonable and tolerant in most things, but your behaviour is childish and unproductive. Sadly enough, I myself have thought to talk to Joe about it as well. Too date I have not.

As Stubby said, you are peeing everywhere you can. It is not appropriate.

We already have free access for all. It is called criminal distribution. Evidently your economic education never included Black Markets. Pity.

But I'm more interested in how the body works. Which is why I'm studying endocannabinoids.

http://www.nih.gov/

Dr. Raphael Mechoulam, Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University of Jerusalem has done some interesting work on the subject.

Interesting that a bright guy like you takes no interest the system in the body with the largest number of receptors compared to all other systems. Just shows you what prejudice can do even in some one supposedly interested in science.

Well no matter. There are people interested in the science and they are in the vast majority in this country. I have a plan to teach them. Similar to my plan for teaching enough people about Polywell to get it funded. I'm a big believer in knowledge overcoming prejudice. Having accomplished it once already.

And I don't present my information everywhere on the board. Just General. So you are safe if you stick to the other parts of he board. Unless you bring the subject up. ;-)

I am sure I can find Drug posts in news. I will not bother to look.

Thanks for peeing around again. Your childish behaviour on this topic makes you look small and unstable. I would like to think that overall you are not.

Maybe you should use your oft posted NIH link to research all the studies and analysis posted there that say drug use is really bad for you. As you well know, I have used it often against you.

But no more. It is not worth my time to validate your Pro-Drug irrational behaviour by showing you over and over how wrong you are. It has only served to give you a pedestal from which you hijack threads and attempt to spread your misinformation and delusion.
