NIAC 2012 Spring Symposium
I saw it. I really wished i could go there. Tuesday will see presentations on some very interesting research in regards to propulsion, some on nuclear and fusion propulsion too.
I am very curious to see if Slough has anything new to show. He has recently received a NASA grant to further his research, so there is hope he already has some new results.
I hope they record the whole thing and put it online.

For those who haven't bothered to read MSNW's presentation, you might find these quotes fairly interesting:
I'm not sure why he uses G instead of Q.
Design of the FDR Breakeven Proof of Concept Experiment
PHD experiment with some of the 1.75 MJ, ±25 kV
capacitor modules shown in the foreground.
• More than sufficient bank energy for G~1 experiment
• Equipment becomes available in July 2012
Anticipated Parameters from FDR Validation Experiment
...
• Final FRC parameters yield a fusion gain G = 1.6 (MsubL=0.18 kg Al)
He's not being very subtle, is he?"Experimental demonstration of fusion gain with inductively driven metal liners" — Hope to publish in the near future!

Temperature, density, confinement time: pick any two.
