Good job I'm not advocating drug use. (Is anyone?)
Is there a hair somewhere that you are splitting?

Congress may say that it is not advocating corn, while passing subsidies that cause more of it.
Well then, it's a good job the only policies I've argued for are ones that I hope and believe would lead to lower drug use.

The comment was in reply to ScottL's remark -
I just don't think I'd start doing drugs just because they're available.
Note: he didn't qualify 'drugs' to mean only addictive substances.

Non addictive drugs would seem outside the topic of addiction, but that's just me.
The topic is 'drug' prohibition. *shrug*

Anyhow, I take it that you do not advocate prohibition for non-addictive substances such as psilocybin and LSD?

Caffeine, booze, nicotine. Everything is poisonous if misused. What should be advocated first of all is education.

Hmm... of course cocaine is dangerous, but heroine... any particular heroine in mind? Scarlett O'Hara? Eliza Doolittle? Jane Eyre...?

English is the only language in the world that has spelling bees or needs them. At leest u hav a cents of hue-mare. :)

Actually some of them are dangerous. I'm thinking Kate Beckinsale in "Underworld."

You talk about it as though it were a bad thing. Are you sure you are on the right side? :)

No more than I do for Dynamite or Antibiotics. Harmless stuff like that ought to be available to anyone without requiring a license or permit.

This is a good point. All things in moderation.

Yes, we should put warning labels on cigarettes or something.

Sometimes I'm just here for comic relief.
Yeah, I am sometimes a bit dense like that, so help me out by putting a ;) wherever you do that ;)
