Every Embassy of Every Country supports intelligence operations. Even yours. So what?

"Leading academic Professor Noam Chomsky" now that is funny. That man is very far from center. He is certainly not a "Leading Academic", he is at best a communist propagandist with an agenda.

Even your own government dictacted propaganda contradicts itself. I mean come on, who killed Professor Massoud Ali-Mohammadi? The CIA or Mossad?

I am really worried that you read these things and do not question them. They are poorly written, almost completely lack references, and when reference is provided, it is extremely suspect to veracity.

I would not call them facts, mis-represented facts at best, some are just outright fanstasy mixed amongst half truths and truths in a failed attempt to gain credibility by association.

Very sad.

The issue on cellphones SMS monitoring. Apparently you are unaware that your government has introduced policy to monitor everybody's cellphone texting and even voice calls in order to track down anti-government persons. This is a totalitarian trampling of personal freedom and privacy. Also, very sad that you do not see issue with it.

This news is hard to believe for you. Probably first encountered becomes, but unfortunately, these are facts.
Aslan, why do you think that these are facts? Because your government, or your mullah say so?

Please, do yourself a favor and dont believe anything these places are reporting. Always cross check with other news outlets. There are so many in English out there.

These are not facts until you provide proof of such. Fortunately for the U.S. we have better things to do with our agencies than to target Iran. Iran is the least of our worries at the moment.

It would be worth checking these supposed facts, if their source had not already completely discredited itself as a source of propaganda rather than real news. There is no reason to believe anything you find at this news source. NOTHING!

Fortunately, the terrorist killer of Prof. Alimohammadi was arrested. He confessed. It is "well documented".

You should know that in Iran, some people send funny critical jokes about President Ahmadinejad via SMS among each others. It's freedom.

That is my point. He (for what ever motivation) stated in court that he had "gone to Turkey" many times to meet with "Mossad". So why does the other propaganda article claim the CIA killed the Professor?
This is but one of many inconsistencies in the reporting of Press TV.

Ok, but you still evade to state you criticisms of your government and leaders here.
I have asked you direct questions several times and you have not answered.
I am happy for them sending SMS funny criticisms. Can they write it on a sign and walk down the street?

I will also ask again if you are aware and what you think of the Revolutionary Guard and its control of entities and businesses in Iran?

1- Yes, I can. But I'm satisfied..

2- Revolutionary Guard in Iran acts exactly like America Department of Defense.

Aslan, what about religious freedom? What about those people that get issued death sentences for making carricatures?

Echelon has been known about for many years. it is nothing new. Trust me, most Europeans are not too happy about it and I did bring it as an argument to some of my american friends here before (e.g. when they were oh so offended by those Russian spies that were cought mostly wasting Russian government money ;)).
Anyway, certainly true. The difference is that the US wont kill anyone just because their opinion is not in line with the government. They nowadays use it mainly for corporate espionage.

We strongly respect the religious beliefs of all people all over the world. The respect is mutual. Humiliating ideas of others is disgusting.

No one has been executed in Iran because of a cartoon drawing.

It would be shameful if it were true. Fortunately, since this sort of activity is illegal in the US, if it were true and people had made such complaints as this article states, there would have been a congressional investigation and people would have gone to prison.

I am not here sharing any doubt that Echalon exists, but it it not used to spy on US citizens. NSA has been using this technology to keep track of psychotic children/politicians around the world for many decades. This is how we have caught so many Al Qaeda over the years.

The point in this, is that here in the US, there are laws against violating someone's privacy, and other rights of all types. In Iran, you have a totalitarian regime that constantly violates its people's rights. There is no comparison between the land of the free, and the land of the psychotic dictator Ahmadinejad.
