Anyone ever run a wiki?

I'm looking at a wiki as starting a project I'd like, and was looking for some experience with the "convenience" hosts(server etc. done for you, just log in). There are a few wikis on the topics this would cover, but that would be a different concern with finding a host.

I'm not up on hosting providers, but from everything I've seen it is relatively easy to set up a Media Wiki site. If you can set up a webserver running Apache and PHP, you can definitely get MediaWiki working.
