Yeah, they're certainly making a lot of headway. Some idiot on NSFC from Europe is wringing his hands demanding that these people be stopped that they are going to kill themselves and need to be regulated... lol.

They've built quite a few rockets to date, plus two submarines. They clearly have their stuff together engineering wise.

Some regulation is in order to protect non-participants. I wouldn't want an unvalidated vehicle flying over urban areas, for example. But if the participants are adults who understand and accept the risks, so be it.

The rocket's flying over military space isn't it? It sounds like the protester's indignant that people are allowed to risk their lives so spectacularly. And probably, in his POV, for something as meaningless as space flight.

I agree. As long as there is no serious threat of hurting anyone other than the participants, they should be allowed to risk their lives if they want to.

And with that perfectly sound moral reasoning, they should be able to get as high as they want ... using rockets or whatever chemical substance they choose.
