Comment: Evidently philosophers are beyond time and space. Because as soon as the clone is created its experiences will be different from the original. The point (in space) of the cloning is the fork in the road.

But whose to say which came first?
The guy who came first
Not so fast.... as an exact duplicate (neuron for neuron), there is nothing in the memory of each being to distinguish which came first, for them

...except of course for the markers under the eyelid.
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

Its a reference to an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie about the "dangers of human cloning". You know those "evil geneticists and their devilish genes"...

Thats not the way the skit went.

You are right. Assuming there are outside observers and keep perfect track of the two beings, their observations would be valid. Whether others choose to absolutely trust those observers as another thing.
