It's not enough to spend their own money, they feel entitled to ours too.

Get a clue. We can't afford to indulge you drones anymore. The bill has come due and it needs to be paid.

I don't understand your llinking of these pieces and the post title.

The first covers the problem of under-population, the second is about the destabilisation of the education system.

Are you saying that only greedy and selfish people which to perpetuate the human species and their education?

Both articles were discussing people on some sort gov't assistance rioting when they did not what thet hought they deserved. Both of these events are happening because tere simply isn't any more money for them anymore. The Bismarkian welfare states the Progressives created in the last century are collapsing under the weight of the Pogressive anti-growth policies of the last century as well.

I don't seek to disagree with your underying thesis, but I think these articles are poor at showing it.

I pay through the nose for taxes that fail to go on more important things like supporting families and education. I would be [much more] happy if my taxes were used for those purposes [rather than, e.g., bailing banks] and am happy that people are protesting that the government is failing to correctly distribute the taxes I pay for, for these purposes.

The underlying issue in these examples is the way western governments have orchestrated the largest movement of money from poor people to rich people in the history of mankind. And you think the poor should have no right to protest about that? I say "long live the revolution", if that is your position, good for them!

Do you have any real numbers tht show this actually happening? How the poor actually have anything to steal in the first place? The only theft that statists seem to keep screaming about is providing goods and services and actually expecting fair market value for them.

Yes. The tax burden.

Really:
http://www.allegromedia.com/sugi/taxes/

If the richest 5% pay over 50% how is that theft? Should they pay more? How much money do we have to confiscate from the productive to make you happy? And what is government going to do with that money?

I'm sorry, but I'm tired of paying for the poor's poverty. I'm tired of standing behind some 300 lb fat woman's behind and watching while she buys gallon bottles of soda, huge bags of snacks and donuts with my money(food stamps). I'm tired of being robbed and told it's not enough. That's the tax burden I worry about.

but you have no reason to suggest that the people in the articles you've sited are such people who sponge and take away taxes. The articles do nothing to suggest these are anything but people who have paid their taxes and now are not getting the services back from government that the government promised them, for those taxes (because the government has ballsed up the economy and is using the money to go into banks)

If what you are saying is true then maybe you can explain how the UK government bailed out, and now owns, a bank with tax payers money that made a 3 billion loss last year - a tax-payer owned bank - but that has gone on to pay out 1.1 billion in bonuses to its "workers".

Please explain....

I get it. Your government is robbing from the poor to give to the rich. The traditional order of things.

The idea I like is no one is robbed. Or as close as possible.
