Maybe the Scottish folks might've better spent their time over pre-judging how Al Magrahi's release was going to be seen/handled.

Just an update on my 'amber-light' incident above...for the historic record!

British justice, huh?

Though this was a 'case management' [pre-trial] hearing today, it went on for 2 hours after which time I appeared to have got most of the way to convincing the Court that the Chief Constable was, indeed, a material witness that should be compelled to attend in my case. At that point, the prosecutor withdrew the case due to it being unfair on me that the video evidence had been deleted.

I then asked for costs, and they said 'only travel and subsistence' at which I said 'grrrr..', or similar, so they awarded me defence costs as well for my preparation time.

We can win, little by little. We must win, but it is draining and it has drained me... they have taken their "pound of flesh" of me (actually, it's more like they've added extra!!)
