"NearStar Fusion Inc. Discloses Development Effort for a Promising New Type of Fusion Energy"
NearStar’s fusion energy approach is based on a NASA NIAC funded concept called Gradient Field Fusion https://ntrs.nasa.gov/api/citations/201 ... 005430.pdf. The NearStar version is called Hypervelocity Gradient Field Fusion (HGFF) and utilizes a proprietary hypervelocity launcher to drive the pulsed impact fusion reaction.
It seems the same design from "HyperV Fusion" and "HyperJet Fusion" and "PLX experiment". The three shared most of the equipment and facility, and also "Nearstar" seems to share the same equipment and facilities according what I can see on their homepage video.
