I've been reading a lot of spam messages lately and this topic came up recently. So I thought I'd share my secret to cutting your power bill in half:

Re: How to cut your power bill in half
It works. Without drugs.

Buiditsolar.com is another way to do it without drugs
I am not a nuclear physicist, but play one on the internet.
Re: How to cut your power bill in half
Is that the correct url? BTW solar makes no sense without subsidy or in places too far north or too cloudy.paperburn1 wrote:Buiditsolar.com is another way to do it without drugs
So you need 3 things.
1. Theft from the other taxpayers
2. As far south as you can get
3. Very few clouds
And one other thing - an electricity supply that doesn't depend on the sun. For when the sun don't shine.
Other than those caveats solar makes perfect sense.

Builditsolar.com. on a large scale of course. Solar does not fit the bill but on small scale custom. Works fine. I am on my phone so excuse the poor typing. There are two major problems with large scale solar. the first is storage and the second is that most applications have to be custom built to their environment. But if you're half way smart to follow instructions and understand the limitations solar makes a fine alternative To augment your current power usage I know I do it myself and I dunno what the
Not tax payer theft if you build it correctlys because all my systems are custom built by myself

Why does everyone assume solar is only photovoltaic. Solar thermal is where the money is made on small scales. And only usa made cells are taxpayer supported. Others are taxed with tarriffs thankyou Obama

Re: How to cut your power bill in half
I had a guy tell me about thermal who was in the biz. He said it was not profitable without subsidy. What that tells me is that even if the profit is zero the utility is marginal.paperburn1 wrote:Why does everyone assume solar is only photovoltaic. Maybe he is doing it wrong, all my projects have ROI under three years {return on investment}
remember small scale (individual user) and large scale (multiple user) are two different animal. SOOO basically they have all paid for themselves already.
