Dr. House would say "Everybody lies."

I'd ask what are the incentives and consequences? Nothing encourages dishonesty more a payoff and no consequences if caught. A CI caught in a lie needs to face criminal charges for the act. Recent history of the witness is also a useful gauge of credibility.

No mention of a CI anywhere in the story.
'Routine traffic stop' and butt clenching.

Kudos to first hospital personnel for actually being human. 8)
Expired warrant from a different county + 8 anal rapes + having to pay the bill for medical procedures = big payout.

I hope he doesn't not accept a settlement and takes everything but the kitchen sink.

Another anal probe victim in New Mexico

#3?!. No mention of a warrant.

It seems that another drug dog 'alerted' and then the fun began.
They then did a cavity search and they probed her vagina and her anus, they described in the medical records as bi-manual--two handed.
W.
T.
F!

These dogs seem to alert whenever the police went them to alert.
There was a court case involving an internal border check point and one of their search dogs where the Border Patrol (and i should it was the same for other agencies) indicated that they DO NOT KEEP records of the performance of the dogs.

So there is no data as to how many of the drug sniffing dog's 'alerts' actually find drugs. If a dog's performance is 95%, well good. If the dog's performance is 10%...

Here we have 2 cases where they were wrong and it is going to cost the various parties involved a lot of money.

So as you can see another overzealous drug search finds nothing.

Found the other one

Timothy Young was stopped on Oct. 13, 2012, for allegedly turning without a signal, KOB-TV first reported Tuesday evening. A K-9 dog erroneously indicated he had drugs in his vehicle and he was taken to the Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, N.M., where doctors performed an x-ray scan and a digital anal probe.

Same hospital as #1. Supposedly did not signal a turn and AGAIN a drug dog 'alerted'.

EDIT
KOB-TV reports that a K-9 dog named "Leo" incorrectly alerted police to the existence of drugs in each of the men's vehicles. The station reports that Leo's drug-sniffing certification expired in April 2011.

I was just commenting the fact that most "drug stops" are not really random. A CI gives a bit of info to get paid or out of trouble and then the LEO goes way to far with that Tip because it must be true...
LEO Local Enforcement Officer cute play on the dogs name.////

The question that comes to my mind is who is footing the bill and whom is profiting?

Report: Two U.S. admirals implicated in Navy bribery probe

Two United States admirals, including the Navy's top intelligence officer, were placed on temporary leave and stripped of their access to classified materials on Friday after being implicated in a widening probe into a Naval bribery scandal.

According to reports, Vice Adm. Ted “Twig” Branch, the service’s top intelligence officer, and Rear Adm. Bruce F. Loveless, the Navy’s director of intelligence operations, are being investigated for their ties to a Singapore-based defense contractor whose top executive was arrested under bribery charges.

http://freebeacon.com/court-homeland-se ... ll-switch/
The Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) is seeking “Standard Operating Procedure 303,” also known as the “Internet kill switch” from Homeland Security. The protocols govern shutting down wireless networks to prevent the remote detonation of bombs.
... the agency argues the protocols must be kept secret to protect national interests and the safety of individuals.
...
The court said Homeland Security wrongly claimed that it could withhold Standard Operating Procedure 303 as a “technique for law enforcement investigations or prosecutions.”

Father Arrested For Trying To Pick Up Kids From School

Seems to be a grey area between getting your kids immediately if you have a car and kids walking home alone.
This guy came to walk his kids home or to his car down the street.

A Florida convenience store owner is preparing to file a federal civil rights lawsuit against local police after collecting more than two dozen videos detailing what he describes as regular harassment by officers against both customers and his employees.

The Miami Herald reported that since installing cameras at his store in June 2012, 207 Quickstop owner Alex Saleh has amassed footage of Miami Gardens police arresting people for trespassing despite them having permission to be at the store, as well as conducting searches without a warrant and in at least one instance, reporting a trespassing arrest saying one of Saleh’s employees was loitering outside the business when video of the arrest showed him being taken into custody while he was working inside.

The employee, Earl Sampson, has reportedly been put in jail 56 times, searched more than 100 times and questioned more than 250 times over the past four years, despite Saleh informing police on several occasions that he worked at the establishment. The arrests reportedly stopped after Saleh informed officers of his intentions of filing the civil suit.

As I sat there handcuffed, one Metro DC cop mocked me for crying and another one made fun of my weight. Can't say I blame them for either.
- Why were you the one in handcuffs?
Because I live in Washington, DC.

Unarmed Man Goes On Shooting Rampage
http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/36 ... mark-steyn
A mentally disturbed man is wandering through traffic outside New York’s Port Authority Bus Terminal. Naturally, the NYPD open fire. They miss the guy. However, the sidewalks being full of people, they manage to hit two female pedestrians, one of them already using a walker, which comes in handy when the coppers shoot you in the leg.
The unarmed man is now facing 25 years in connection with the shooting.
