We need a directorate of science, and we need it to be voted on only by scientists. You don't get to vote on reality. Get over it. Elected officials that deny the findings of the Science Directorate are subject to immediate impeachment for incompetence.

I don't see historic steam engines as enough of a carbon threat to be worth banning, in case you're asking. No one who can count would. You could run one historic engine up and down every day and not make enough CO2 to be worth regulating. And they're already too expensive to run as a commercial venture. Why borrow trouble? How many historic/amusement trains are there gonna be? Not enough to matter, I'm sure.
