We need a directorate of science, and we need it to be voted on only by scientists. You don't get to vote on reality. Get over it. Elected officials that deny the findings of the Science Directorate are subject to immediate impeachment for incompetence.

Peer review is simple.
Unit 61398 wants to deny it so they make up stories.
It's just all the scientists in the field in question. Everybody gets called on for peer review, not merely eventually, but regularly. They all publish stuff all the time, a huge constant stream that's forever getting larger. We're learning more and more all the time; exponentially, in fact. Buckminster Fuller pointed it out in the 1950s.
