Iran Nuke Talks Going Well, Early

It appears the presaged "way forward" from Iran is interesting enough that there is delay in the response. The proposal has not produced immediate rejection. It is therefore substantive. Most observers believe that the Iranian people put Rouhani in to make nuclear peace and end the sanctions and legitimize their peaceful nuclear program and ensure there is no military program at all.

In case it's not clear I am in favor of this. Trust and verify. Russia and we do this. It works.
We need a directorate of science, and we need it to be voted on only by scientists. You don't get to vote on reality. Get over it. Elected officials that deny the findings of the Science Directorate are subject to immediate impeachment for incompetence.

I'm more worried about the Israelis. The top story when I posted was Bibi dissing whether the Iranians were serious again, on USA Today.

I'm not sure the Saudis aren't more worried about the fundies than Iran, if Iran isn't being fundie any more. And electing Rouhani looks unfundie.

And better yet today, the US is still looking at the offer and has re-emphasized through the leader of the US negotiators that the offer is being taken very seriously, and is "detailed" and "serious" and that the talks are "intense."
