There is a lot of deliberate disinformation distributed by CNN and Ted Turner on this point. The fact is, the dispatcher never ordered Zimmerman to stand down, as that would not be a lawful order in the first place. What the dispatcher said was "we don't need you to do that." And in fact, the police don't "need" neighborhood watch groups at all, since they're perfectly happy to arrive after a crime is committed. Citizens of a free nation however, have the right to try to thwart crime. Only in authoritarian police states is the power to defend oneself, one's possessions and their neighbors relegated to agents of the state and all personal defense removed from the citizen. The guy you're arguing with though, William; is certainly unable to understand this.
Why are you feeding the troll?

This odious law twists it around so the bereaved are robbed.
Under oath (I heard it in the trial) the dispatcher testified that it was not an order, that in fact she had no authority to order him, that it was a suggestion. "We dont need you to do that". And once more SYG laws didn't enter into it. And the idea that someone can attack someone else try to beat their brains out, and have there relatives sue you successfully for your shooting them in self-defense is what's wrong with our laws.
There wouldn't be a question without the SYG law. SYG is not "law;" it's license.
Looks like whitey got away with "killing" a black. It's all good of course. It's not "murder" or anything like that. They're animals, you know, with gigantic black sex organs. /sarcasm
You did after all ask.

"Troll" is not a definition of a person at all; it's a type of post. Calling a person a "troll" is a joke on the person who takes it seriously. It's self-identifying as a stupid. Or a smartass. Unfortunately most stupids pretend to be smartasses. Most of them are dumbasses.
What you have to do is present reliable evidence to counter a troll. Trolls generally arise when someone says something really, really, really stupid, or really, really, really smart. Distinguishing which generally happens within a decade, not a lifetime, these days. It used to be a lifetime or even more, like for Darwin.
One thing to watch out for is if the "troll" knows more math than you. You may then be in trouble. In fact you may then be the troll.

Yeah I did ask, and like I very much regret it. My understanding is that black defendants use SYG laws (successfully) in Florida more often than white defendants do. Probably because black males are many times more likely to be in situations where they need to use deadly force in self-defense, and absenting SYG laws, defended by a mediocre court appointed attorney, it is that much easier for a prosecutor to rail-road you, the other side of the coin.
Links and quotes or it never happened. No Alex Jones, no KKK, no Heritage Foundation, no Rant Paul, no Wrong Paul. No Elvis stories. No Babble quotes. No National Enquirer. No Moonies.

Again with the troll making up definitions to suit his own sickness. In fact, a "troll" is a person. "In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally[3][4] or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[5] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[6]" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_(Internet)
Our troll is a text book case of such an emotionally immature and disturbed person.
What you have to do is present reliable evidence to counter a troll.
No, what you need to do with a troll is stop feeding them. Since trolls feed on sick attention, the thing to do with a troll is IGNORE them.

You're not prejudiced or anything; you know lots of black people and they all love you, right?
I know lots of black people because actually I am black people and know what it is like to be in a situation where one might reasonably feel you need to use deadly force, though I never have myself. I also have a CCW license. Ohio has a more limited version of SYG law, called the "Castle Doctrine". It only applies in your home, vehicle, and supposedly your business. We are in the process of expanding it to a SYG law in the not to distant future (I hope).

And why do you need it exactly?
As far as claiming you're black, I've met lots of internet blacks. They're pretty much ephemeral, like internet lawyers and internet psychologists, and generally turn out to be fat middle-aged white blue-collar workers who wonder why they're not making much money after they let the Republicans talk them into screwing the unions. And who like to lie on the Internet. And tweak the Libruls and pretend they're stupid because they didn't think anyone but an idiot would bother to lie.
And BTW Trayvon wasn't shot in Zimmerman's home, vehicle, or business. Pardon me if I doubt your assertions about your laws being "different." They still look prejudiced to me. When your black son is shot for being in a white neighborhood bringing home licorice and potato chips and a sixer of diet Coke, and you're still OK with this "Stand Your Ground" crap, I might start to listen.

There's probaly a dozen cases like the Zimmerman Martin case that happen every month, so the question is, why does this one swallow up so much media attention. While all were fixated, a UN report came out on a previous chemical weapons attack in Syria, clearly blaming the 'rebels'. It's amazing how the mainstream media will fixate on irrelevant individual cases for months as if the rest of the world didn't exist. Weapons of mass distraction, disruption, dissention, disinformation.
The media grabbing issue with Martin/Zimmerman was that Ted Turner wanted to challenge the "stand your ground" law. He wants to see people everywhere disarmed despite he shot someone in his back yard for swimming in his pool without permission. Rich Liberals love to make one standard for themselves and one for everyone else.
I've seen no news of substance that it was the rebels in Syria who used the chemical weapons. In fact, seems there is ample evidence that it was Assad who used them. Look at what the media says about who died. Assad and Putan are both full of shit.
