I apologize to all my historical counterparts here for the heavy hand I am taking. I felt very quickly that this clown is a threat to the discourse on this board. We have some great discussions and disagreements mixed with the occasional agreement (however infrequent that may be). These discourses are to the point where many of them provide great insight into complex topics with no real right/wrong answer. This guy is only going to damage that willingness to openly engage with relative depth and intensity that makes Talk-Polywell a great place to hang out.

Yes. This is why I suggested people put him on ignore, because it appears he was responsible for destroying the PopSci board as well.
Though each of us have had our share of disputes on this board, we generally don't like this. I know I don't like any of the disputes I've been involved in over the years and consider them failures of a sort. When you have that sort of emotionally damaging dispute, you don't even feel like popping by to see what's new, and you certainly can't enjoy other, healthy communications.
This guy is however different from anyone I have ever seen on the board. He thrives on hateful speech. Pulling out the racism card on his first day here was all the proof I need that he's a thoroughly toxic person. the fact his very first post was deliberately intended to insult large groups of people such as "deniers" when he obviously has no science training and is just a drone--is fact enough for me to put him on ignore.
And truthfully, I have to wonder about the motivations of those who have tried to be nice to this guy rather than run him out of town on a rail.
