White House mistakenly identifies CIA chief in Afghanistan

(Image added for clarity.)

The CIA’s top officer in Kabul was exposed Saturday by the White House when his name was inadvertently included on a list provided to news organizations of senior U.S. officials participating in President Obama’s surprise visit with U.S. troops.

The White House recognized the mistake and quickly issued a revised list that did not include the individual, who had been identified on the initial release as the “Chief of Station” in Kabul, a designation used by the CIA for its highest-ranking spy in a country.

Democrats Privately Calling Obama 'Detached,' 'Flat Footed,' 'Incompetent'

(Image added for clarity.)

"Maggie Haberman," said King turning to a panelist, "that's what strikes me, what democrats are saying privately in the wakes of the healthcare.gov problems, they see a president who doesn't want to take command, doesn't want to act fast. Raising the competence question. Some Democrats, who believe in government, [are saying] this White House doesn't appear to have its hand on the lever."

this White House doesn't appear to have its hand on the lever.
And this is a problem? How? What he would be inclined to do would not be something you would likely want... Just saying.

Those statements are just part of the machine working its propaganda, Novembers coming and in some close elections you will be better off not supporting OBAMA

Yes, it is the Dems playing CYA while OBama gets his comeupance, but it's noteworthy when CNN stops carrying water for him:

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tom-blumer ... =CNN-Obama

just when impeachment proceedings are about to erupt:

http://www.mrconservative.com/2014/05/4 ... for-obama/

and he is so recently GUILTY of outting a top CIA operative. Maybe he'll claim this is the first he heard of it and he learned about it on the news?

To be fair, Obama had nothing to do with this. The list (publishable) was given to the White House press department by the army. The white house press man then just handed it on.
There definitely were mistakes made, but to blame Obama for this is just plain outright silly.

Assumptions fly from all directions, pots vs kettles. For my part, it is Prog vs Prog, fight for Kingship over the trough, and fight for trough privileges. Have at it. And Progs justify their elitist hubris with nose in the air, eyes looking down at the little people that as an elitist Prog they are doing a favor by their caretaker role as Lordship.

At one time we had a revolution to kick their butts out, now the Tories are back as Progs.

He is the boss, and accountable for actions taken by his staff. That the army passed it to them is irrelevent. They should have vetted it themselves. You also do not know in what context or means it was passed by the army. I am sure that if it went on unclass, the army is going to fry someone, unlike Obama. They will handle their bit, he will not.
A boss sets the tone and organizational culture for any group. It is clear that the Obamaidiot sets a culture of disorganized mayhem where it is CYA, dog eat dog, and corruption is king.
A mistake as bone stupid as this one indicates clear contempt by the perpetraitors for rules, process and professionalism. It was a hack move in a hack administration.
If he fires no-one over it, then that is just more incompetence on his part that will breed further incompetence in the staff. If he waffles before firing someone (which he has now officially done), then it is just the same outcome.

It is his fault. He drives the bus. Just like it was and is my fault if my people screw the pooch. I am responsible for how seriously they take their jobs and how well they perform. That is what being in charge is really about.
If Obama had any real leadership experience he would know this and stop being a friggin waffle. I suffered through about the first 120 seconds of his VA press conference and then literally walked away. What an ass covering moron.
As my colleague intoned at that moment we walked..."blah-blah-blah...what an moron that can't say anything of substance...blah-blah-blah...".

Obama has clearly demonstrated that you can buy the presidency, and you don't need to spend your own money. Someone will buy it for you if you are stupid enough to be controlled.

Yeah, because this is the first administration where mistakes like these were made by the army...
Also, Obama does not sign off on the information given to the press. Sorry guys, not a huge fan of Obama, but this is ridiculous.

Obama just proves that if you can con the stupid Urban Liberal Democrat Union members who work in the News and Entertainment industries, they can give you a billion dollars worth of propaganda that will get you elected in our modern Idiocracy.

Mark of a Prog Tory is to immediately defend the Prog King, then there are others who think the King should be a better King for this or that reason.

Not loyal enough to the King? Or, all of a sudden a lot of officers were discovered to be "bad?" As compared to the King's own vassals and ministers, hmmmm.
