In 2013, production is estimated to have increased by 36%.* The refining process requires tankers of specialist chemicals, raw materials, and logistical support. Those are the facts. To assert that it is happening unseen by the occupying forces, or that they are doing anything but facilitating the export sale of tonnes of highly addictive, dangerous drugs to the world is ridiculous. The MIC is the drugs trade.

So why would our government fight a drug war at the same time it is facilitating their production? To keep profits up.

My cure for all this? Get the addicts into treatment with guaranteed supplies of opiates at reasonable costs if they are unable to kick the habit. It would be cheaper to treat a medical problem as a medical problem than as a criminal problem that profits the criminals all up and down the line.
