The NRC was a bad Idea from the start. It was created to deal with problems that never existed and could have been handled readily with existing existing institutions and regulation. (the subject was in my mind as I just read an article about an homosexual couple being denied entry into the Creation Museum), as well as the recent russian poll where a large % of russians said they believe men and dinossaurs coexisted.
