Your basic assumption is incorrect, your assessment of abilities is incorrect, but in this case two wrongs do make a right (aka correct). Your first clause should have been "Progressive's inability to empathize before they push (as they seldom leap themselves); the second "and their ability to rationalize what they learn"; but the final conclusion is correct. :wink:
