diborane, B2H4. a bit extra hydrogen for the reaction, but what I've read says you want that anyway.

Diborane is a nasty gas. Toxic. It complicates administration terribly.

Potential poison gas leaks is not a selling point.

If I had to use a borane, Decaborane would be my choice. It boils at 213C and is less toxic.

I'd like to figure out some solid feed of B11. It may not be possible.
