I'm foreseeing an attempt to genetically engineer the "New Soviet Man". If the attempt succeeds the result will thrive on abuse and be utterly incapable of caring for itself.

Genetic engineering is a science that has so much negativity associated with it, when all it has ever done is improve the productivity of our agriculture, so we can feed more mouths and improve and save lives directly in the pharmaceutical industry.
Yes companies like Monsanto have very dubious business practices and I do not agree with them, but that does not justify demonizing the research and the technology as it is done by popular media, religious groups and the ultra left (genetics contradicts the Diamat, which is why Susslov sent all geneticists in the Soviet Union to Siberia).

Eugenics only means preventing people with bad traits from reproducing, generally by forced sterilization.

This would have nothing to do with that.
