Nice post but I think the poetic justice is lost on them. The only thing that will stop the war on drugs are 1) demographic changes; the old farts that have an emotional stake in Reagan's war on drugs are rapidly dying off; and 2) the 800lb gorilla of civil asset forfeiture. Let's see how enamored the former are with the war on drugs when their beloved drug warriors start going after their precious money/property/businesses.
