I don't know about that, there'd be a lot of bargains available with the S&P 500 at 450. I'm sure there would have been something of a bounce back rather than a flat line, after the dust settled.

In theory, we should see a rise in interest rates which will bring relief to long suffering savers at the expense of reckless gamblers. In reality, we will probably see bail ins as both government and the banks collude to protect the biggest wastrels by robbing the little people.
