Nobody Cares about Global Warming Any More

Or at least Al Gore:

Those numbers look like my youtube channel of train and NYC videos. And I didn't use professional production values and shot them in my spare time. That's just pathetic.

"Most people in Columbus, Ohio, (70%) believe global warming is happening, while only 18% believe it is not."

it's pathetic when you have to have your employees astroturf stuff to support your cause:

Ummm, you vs. Yale?

Good luck with that.

As you continue to produce more and more obscure sources your intent to deceive varies inversely.

Meanwhile I have to point out that the court hearing Mann's defamation lawsuit against the denier liar slanderers seems to care very deeply about global warming.

So even the title of this thread appears to be untrue.

Al Gore's 15 minutes expired a long time ago and he's been scrambling to try to stay in the limelight since.

Maybe if he changed his lifestyle to emulate Ed Begley he might have a bit more credibility.

As it is - if you don't act like you believe there's an eco-catastrophe coming, and you're making good money predicting it - you tend to lose credibility. I admire Ed Begly for practicing what he preaches. I might not agree with his take on things, but at least he's practicing what he's preaching.

Ed Begley acts on his eco-beliefs

We're not talking about teh algore. You're trying to change the subject again.

We're talking about Mann's lawsuit for defamation of character. The one that didn't get dismissed no matter how hard you wished or prayed to your super magic sky daddy.

Brrr… Antarctica Sea Ice Reaches 30 Year Record by Extent and Volume

Image
In light of global warming, it seems paradoxical that the sea ice cover of the Southern Ocean has covered a larger area in the past month than in the last decades. Only in the mid-70s was observed a similar expansion.

The means were 19.48 million in September 2013 square kilometers, an area once covered more than 50 times larger than Germany with sea ice. The absolute maximum of 19.65 million square kilometers was reached on 18 of September.

1. It doesn't mention volume.
2. We already discussed that it is getting larger because it's spreading out and getting more flexible as it slowly melts.
3. The two graphs are from different seasons. Apparently you didn't notice. Or else you don't think the Antarctic has seasons. Snicker.

Standard denier technique: circle around to try to get a different answer the next time. Just like little kids trying to get around Daddy.

Another standard technique: claim an article that only claims one thing, claims two.

Another standard technique: claim a picture shows one thing when it clearly shows another.

Pitiful.

Nobody cares about global warming anymore because we know there isn't any. All you have to do is look at the satellite data.

Because you don't "believe in" satellite data or peer review.

OK, we'll keep that in mind.

Note to self: stupids still think they get to vote on global warming.

Pro Tip™: When the satellites measure lower heat it means less is coming out. That means the Earth is getting warmer.

This is duh. This is why I say climate cranks can't count.

But it's the wrong KIND of ice, you see. It's not thick enough to really count as 'ice', at best it's 'low-cal' ice.

Never mind that there's ice where there wasn't before...

Oops WUWT

As previously noted the actually mass of ice is very important also and not just coverage. A thin but larger area of ice will melt faster.

The German report (and actually quoted in the WUWT article) says:
this maximum in the ice-covered surface can not be equated with a maximum of the total volume or mass
which contradicts the title of the WUWT.

Unfortunately I don't read German but from the translation:
The German article states that in the future they want to observe the sea ice volume as is done in the Arctic. They have deployed sensors to start readings.

So WUWT is in error with regards to volume.

So you don't know what "volume" means. And you can't read the names of the months and don't think Antarctica has seasons.

Snicker.
