But Mann - the subject of the post - IS a scientist. Hockey stick splice and all that. He has proved that if you can find the right tree you can do superior science. Providing you exclude the wrong trees.

But Mann was investigated by five different authorities and they all found that he'd acted with the highest honesty. One of them was a court case that got thrown out with prejudice.

He's been watching the game, but doesn't know who the teams are, the players, the score, or even the rules. Yet he's an expert. Also he doesn't want to have to look at anything he considers evil, which is anything coming from what he calls a "crank."

Mann is actually the plaintiff in two defamation suits and a witness in several more, and I'll be updating this thread, or at least this forum, with their ongoing progress.
