Redistribution Doesn't Work

Post by Jccarlton »

You know, as time goes on with technologies the return on investment goes down and it gets harder for investors to make money with existing technologies and services as the drive for competitive advantage drives ever higher productivities. If there were no new things to come along, things get really bad. The problem is that activities like vastly higher taxes and regulationary red tape suppress the creativity and entrepreneurship needed to create the new products and the industries that hire all those unemployed. That makes the current situation a disaster:

If people can't see a return on their labors and investors can't make money then the economy will slowly stumble to a crash. What the Democrats and the Obama administration have done is the worst possible thing to do at the worst possible time. but because the Democrats seem to run purely on political advantage and emotion in the Washington bubble they don't see the catastrophe that has become the US economy.
