Simon, i'm tired of your ridiculous and unfair tactics. (False Equivalency, Emotional arguments, mischaracterizing positions etc.) I've decided to show you how tiresome it is.
Alabama suspect had marijuana use history
The latest details involving Alabama suspect Jimmy Lee Dykes is that he has a history of using marijuana, so he could have been under the influence of the drug when he shot and killed a school bus driver and abducted a young male child. And that puts a whole new spin on the gun violence issues being raised since the hostage standoff began six days ago.
The autopsy states he had low therapeutic levels of Luvox in his system at the time of death. Luvox has a 'washout period' of about 14 days for a 60mg/day prescription. Typical Luvox therapy starts with 50mg/day dosage and progresses into high dosages of up to 300mg/day as needed. It's extremely reactive to other substances (alcohol, marijuana, prescriptions). Without knowing how long Eric was taking the drug before 4-20-99 and without knowing how much he was prescribed, it's hard to tell whether this low level of Luvox was because he was actively taking a low level of the drug or because he was in the process of taking himself off a high level of it.
Eric was also friends with Becca; they sat together in class,
cut class together, and once in March, 1999, they had lunch
at Eric’s house.107
The day before the attack, Eric, Dylan, and
Brooks went to lunch with Becca.108
Eric was also friends with a couple of drug-involved girls. One was Jennifer, who may have sold him cocaine.109
Another was Stephanie, who hung out with Eric and Dylan at the “smoker’s pit” where they smoked
marijuana and talked.110
Considering all the activities Eric and Dylan were involved in with their friends, including soccer, paint-ball, bowling, Dungeons and Dragons, fantasy baseball, video games, mak-ing movies, smoking pot, drinking, raising a ruckus at the pizza
shop, and more, it is clear that these were not two isolated boys.

If you found a 100% correlation between mass murderers and cannabis use, you would still not have people like simon alter their positions, nor anyone else pushing for legalization.

Since accusations and half-truths are considered fair game in this debate, I just thought I would avail myself of this new type of ammunition. The facts don't matter. Only the accusations and half-truths matter.
For all we know, Marijuana is harmless to most people, but induces some small percentage of the population to become psychotic and violent.

One night when Jeff was driving home, he picked up a hitchhiker, 19-year-old Steven Hicks. The two of went back to Jeff's where they drank beer and smoked marijuana. However, it seems as though Jeff must have really liked Steve because when Hicks said that it was time he left, Jeff decided that he did not want his new friend going anywhere.
James Holmes "Batman" Movie shooter/ Wanna be Joker.
James Holmes, the alleged "Joker" gunman, described his fascination with altered states of mind in a lecture to other students, and dosed up on prescription medication before the atrocity, it emerged on Sunday.
The first video footage of the suspect showed him as an awkward, nervous 18-year-old giving a talk at a science summer camp in San Diego on "temporal illusions". It also emerged that in the days before the attack, Holmes, a cannabis smoker, joined a dating website seeking women for "sexy times" and also tried to join a gun club.

I can tell you 100% of them drank water. What should we do about that?
I can also tell you that 100% of all people have cannabinoids in their systems (even you GIT). What should we do about that?
In fact mothers milk is laced with cannabinoids. What should we do about mothers drugging their children? Maybe laws against breast feeding would help.
In fact your craziness about the subject may be caused by overproduction of cannabinoids in your system. Have you seen a doctor about it? As far as I know there is no cure. But perhaps alcohol sedation might help.

Violence -- whether personal violence, such as suicide; interpersonal violence, such as rape, homicide, or domestic abuse; or group violence, such as unruliness and riotous acts at sporting events -- is a major concern to everyone. Alcohol abuse and alcoholism cause a significant number of severe -- sometimes fatal -- health, social, and economic problems in the United States.
That there is an association between alcohol use and all forms of violence has been known for many years.

So what I want to know is: were these folks alcohol drinkers?
