Well, If you don't want my vote

Many times and many places by many different people around the net I have been told by Republicans "we don't want your kind".

Is that any way to win elections? It seems the stupid party wants 100% support or none. The evil party is not near so picky.

The evil party says "we don't agree with you on X, Y, or Z but since you agree with us on Q vote for us".

The stupid party treats politics like it was a church. Agree with all the major points of doctrine or find a different church. The evil party treats politics like it was a nightclub - we have 4 bands tonight, come for the one you like. We will be glad to have you.

This has been going on for so long (the last 7 years) that I have decided to give up on the Republicans. I know of others who have come to similar conclusions. I believe we are headed over the cliff because Republicans don't have any idea about making alliances. They want converts not allies. I'm not converting.

I have been told many times "if you are not a social conservative you can't be a fiscal conservative." Well I must be a Democrat then.

Or many times "Libertarians are in league with and promote socialism." Yep. I'm a Democrat for sure.

I appreciate all the social conservatives who have convinced me I'm a Democrat. I will vote accordingly. And convince others of my ilk to do the same.

I am often amazed at how you can't seem to see the big picture. You are currently riding an avalanche of a preference cascade. It won't matter what you do. The Democrats have been given permanent and unassailable advantages in all elections henceforth.

Puerto Rico has voted to become a State. If Congress accepts their application, there will be two more Democrat Senators, probably half a dozen more Democrat Electoral Votes, and at least four more Democrat Congressmen.

The Media no longer even make a pretense of being objective, and they will control what subjects get discussed and how, in all future elections. The King Jack@$$ will have four more years to further screw up the Federal Judiciary and create Environmental and other Regulations by fiat, The corruption is on a level never before seen, and the IRS as well as other governmental agencies are being used as weapons against his political enemies. (Dealergate e.g.)

The Military is now fully "Gay", and is about to become fully "Woman" too. The Boy scouts are about to become fully "Gay", and pretty soon it's going to be illegal to say anything about "gays". The Media has kept up a massive propaganda barrage on the "gay" front, and the latest "newspeak" is that you aren't going to be tolerated if you dissent on this topic. (They'll eventually apply this doctrine to other topics as well.)

We have this 100 trillion dollar financial "Doomsday" asteroid bearing down upon us, and you seem to think having a little hissy fit about your stupid Drug legalization efforts is going to matter one d@mn little bit?

Vote Democrat! Take everyone you can possibly sway and get them to go along with you!!!!!!!! It isn't going to change the future one d@mn bit! Instead of losing elections by 3 or 4 %, we will lose elections by 5 or 6 percent. Big Whoop!

It would suit me just fine if the Republicans would stop obstructing this nation's descent into communist h3ll. Let us just cut the brake cables on everything that has been holding this God forsaken place together, and let's get to the point where we don't have to pretend anymore.

You see, Simon, the reason we really don't give a flying f*** about trading principles for political convenience is because we see that the ship has already hit the iceberg, and since we are all going down anyway, we might as well go about it like men, not begging for our political life like unprincipled cowards.

Take your Libertarian @$$hole brigade, and go vote for the people who will not be bothered with moral inhibitions. You will end up in the cooking pot soon enough.

I see a clear path ahead to plagues of drug abuse and STDs (pestilence), total economic collapse (famine), and riots in the streets over the failure of Big Uncle Government to deliver benefits (war). We may see localized armed uprisings against crime or corrupt government, such as we're seeing in Mexico. http://thefloatinglibrary.com/2013/02/0 ... d-the-law/ And no clear way to recover until the above wipe out the idiots who brought it about (you know what).

The one hope I see for many of us escaping is for those states and regions not terminally infected by the leftist virus to cut the rest of the US loose, and let the cities burn. I may be looking to move, living in one of the states terminally infected.

And this is exactly what I see as well. Math is a vicious adversary.
