40K deaths a year from alcohol (probably includes traffic deaths) - zero from marijuana. Estimated cost of alcohol of $200 bn a year nationally. Includes deaths and lost work.

My retired police detective friend was ecstatic to hear that Washington State will no longer be making possession arrests.

Maher at around 5:50 into the video discusses how the Democrats could use the issue to win a national election. Anyone among the Republicans remember FDR and the anti-prohibition election of 1932? I thought not.

It seems the Republicans hate winning elections. Fine by me. I will work with who ever is on top. And laugh the whole time.
