All that is probably known by now but the parties to the case have been put under a gag order. It is discussed at the link by my coblogger Eric.choff wrote:The guns he used are all legal to own in Canada, though restrictions exist on ammo clip size, and it's a longer process to aquire.
The guy could have a brain lesion/cyst/bubble or rapid onset mental illness, all is speculation at this point, we don't know anything about legal/illegal drugs he might have been using.
If that's true, maybe there's a link to underground San Diego Satanic cults.jnaujok wrote:The guy has degrees in Neuroscience. He knows every single symptom he needs to present to be ruled as "mentally incompetent". He also knows that the doubly jeopardy law will protect him if he's found "innocent by reason of mental defect."
This guy is waiting to write a book about how he fooled the system.
He 's a sociopath at best, and a full on rational cold-blooded mass murderer at least.
He was planning this for six months. He's not on anything.
Ohhh I love conspiracy theories. Plan to make a "documentary" on the subject so I can laugh at your rather amusing claims? Neuro-science is not Psychology, so unless they're hooking him up to an MRI and he's lighting up the "right parts" of his brain, his study will not help him in the slightest. The fact that he has been seing a psychiastrist and was in a Phd program does give him a chance at being a psycho-path, but that is considered a mental illness as it is considered vastly outside the norm of the general population. Because of the murders, he's likely to be admitted to an asylum for the remainder of his life though.jnaujok wrote:The guy has degrees in Neuroscience. Schiz or psychotic looks increasingly probable. May or may not be enough to save his life - Colorado is Purple nearing Blue.choff wrote:Unless they x-ray his skull and find something very wrong inside he's probably going to get the chair. Either that or he was guinea pig in a science experiment that went very, very wrong.
The Republicans in Colorado - some of them anyway - seem to be coming to their senses.djolds1 wrote:Schiz or psychotic looks increasingly probable. I don't think he's coherent enough for an argument. Police are still refusing to say what he's been on and will continue to do so for the forseeable future. It's pretty clear he has a mental illness, whether it be an imbalance or he's a sociopath, either way, it's mental illness.GIThruster wrote:Anyone who thinks Holmes has an argument that will obtain is as daffy and out of touch as can be.
