Pot Prohibition is coming to an end. What will happen to the credibility of our "Christian" moralists when people start finding out that they or a loved one have been denied life saving or life extending medicine in the name of "Christian" morality? Suppose it is merely pain relief that has been denied?

Well keep up the good work my "Christian" friends. I couldn't do a better job of discrediting your faith than you are doing yourselves. Even the Jews know better.

As far as official Jewish organizations go, the Union for Reform Judaism passed a resolution in 2003 supporting medical marijuana and called on Reform congregations to support legalization for medical purposes.

Well maybe all the above will bring people back to the religion of Jesus instead of the religion about Jesus. Going straight to the source so to speak. It is interesting to watch.

Kinda funny ... that article goes out of it's way to blame Obama for the drug war ... yet he's done more then the previous guys. He didn't "end it" but he did use administrative actions (the only thing he can do btw) to put it as the lowest priority level of the FBI (the only federal police force he can control). If a state's police are doing raids then the locals should be voting out the local mayors / governors.

Also the IRS issue is due to a very old law, one made specifically to go after organized crime family's. It prevents you from claiming as a business expense the costs of conducting an illegal (even if unenforced) business.

Cannabis just needs to be delisted as a schedule I drug and make it a states right to determine it's legal status. I like states rights issues, it servers as a free market for inter-state competition for citizens.

Let me explain it in case you missed it. The Democrats hate prohibition and ramp it up. Clinton - arrests doubled on his watch. Obama - dispensary raids.

The Republicans love prohibition and hold the status quo from the previous administration. You would think it was a plan to fool the voters or something.

What is holding the Democrats back? They had everything they needed to do that after the '08 election. Heck - Obama could do it by fiat. Why hasn't he?

In America according to conservative leaning Rasmussen 56% now favor pot legalization and 67% say prohibition is not working.

Eventually the status quo will give way.
