As I was saying back then "Manned fighters like the F22 or the F35 are last generation, UAVs are the future". Some people here agreed, some not so much.

When I said that I was actually thinking of the next generation of UAVs, but I guess the current one is good enough.

The Navy is talking about ISR, attack of surface targets, etc., not dogfighting and air superiority.
Is that beyond your comprehension? Apparently, it is.
I hope Austria opts to rely solely on drones for air combat and rejects any NATO assistance.
That will mean more of the limited number of F-22s will be available for defense of the US.
The Austrian drones will be snacks for the T-50s and J-20s of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
