At least, take his advice on taxing the wealthy.

Only if he ponies up at least 5 bil first. Otherwise he's just using the tax code to milk the system. Buffet has lot of money in compaines that just so happen to do trust and estate planning.

There's no better way to make money than patronage and cronyism:

I have good news for Warren Buffet and his mega-rich friends:
Problem solved.

Faced with the option of donating to the government or donating do something else, the super-rich (who are rarely idiots) find the best use for their money. They frequently do tax themselves by supporting, among other things, universities and R&D programs such as Tri-Alpha. Polywell would probably be on that list too, were it not for the Navy resuming funding.
The super-wealthy, if feeling altruistic, make a very nice counterpoint to government.

WB talks about his 15% tax rate, which is just the capital gains rate forfolks in the higher brackets. But he doesn't mention that the companies that made the money that BECAME the capital gains paid 35%or more. So basically he hasbeen double taxed.
I wonder what his ulterior motive is.

I have a very close friend who has known Warren for some time. The person is a Democrat and makes good money. That friend has no respect for Warren.
One of his favorites is preying on people who are about to lose their family business due to the Death Tax. He does add value. So there is that. But calling for government action which will support his business is not exactly the most ethical behavior. Where I come from such a man would be called corrupt.
Perhaps Democrats have a different view. I'd like to hear it.
