The Progressive Right

The progressive state has never seen its job as simply to check the excesses of the rich. It has also sought to correct the vices of the poor and to uplift the masses.

Since the end of Alcohol Prohibition there has been a division of labor. The Right Wing Progressives handle social control (mostly) and the Left Wing Progressives handle economic control (mostly). Ever notice how the ratchet seems to only run one way whether it is social or economic control?

They like to be seen as fighting each other. They are actually in cahoots.

If you said Republican progressives I would agree with you. The problems started when both sides of the aisle forgot the constitution and government doing its job and started to believe in government doing good.
