MBA's are bad for business

I have heard countless stories of MBA's running businesses and careers into the ground on their way up the ladder. And usually the ladder doesn't go that high for them anyway.

A splendid example of the predominant corporate model would be TEPCO.

Thinking that credentials trumps experience has hurt just about every company in the US. It's gone beyond the point of sheer stupidity.

The problem to me is a slavish devotion to the bottom line, a continuous drive to maxout this quarters numbers and no long term vision.

It's not fun when you work in that sort of environment.
