Iranian Fuel Assembly capability

Somebody thinks they got smart about geometries and fuel matrix design.
Be interesting to see what happens when they burn some.
I am more inclined to believe that they copied someones work than came up with it on their own. This is a big leap for their industry is they have in fact figured it out. But that remains to be seen. For example, US efforts in this arena have been ongoing for decades. Forming zirc ziplocks around "fuel" doesn't mean shyte. Content of the fuel matrix itself, as well as assy loading, and core geometry are all interdependant and very complex. You can also not really learn if what you have done is working well until you burn it and deconstruct and study the elements in the context of the entire fuel core and operating history.
Deconstructing fuel assy's means reprocessing means weapons material source.
The next logical step now that they claim to have answered the fuel assy paradox (We need processed uranium, but can not make power fuel assy's), is the follow on paradox, manufacture of fuel assy's without reprocessing means you do not know if you assy's are valid or efficient, and you lose the fuel material not burned. But of course, if you reprocess, then you can also claim weapons grade material. Hmmmm.
Next up, "Iran claims reproccessing capability".
These guys are so full of crap on the denial of seeking weapons.
