I hate to keep sounding like a broken record, but it just keeps kooking uglier. The irresponsibility of the Democratic part in the last two years cannot be overstated:

Two Years? Closer to Two Hundred Years! The Damage Started with Andrew Jackson, and has continued through every Democrat administration up to and including the President. (Well, Grover Cleveland Wasn't too bad.) If there was any Republican that caused as much damage and destruction to the Nation it would have to be Abraham Lincoln. But he at least did some GOOD as well!
Yeah, the party of Slavery, Jim Crow, and Dependence, has done a LOT of bad things since Andrew Jackson Founded the DNC and stole the Indian Lands in the South to turn into Slave plantations. They are still trying to make slaves of us all.

I'll bet you can't name one bit of damage which Lincoln "did" to the country which was not most plausibly a direct and necessary response to the Southern treason.
