If they didn't work in the 1930's, if they didn't work in the 1970's, why would Keynes' theories work now?

They won't work, but that's not the important question. The important question is, why are we trying this stuff again?

The answer is because we have a new generation of silly asses who cannot comprehend why they didn't work then (if they even learned about it) and can't comprehend why they won't work now.
