Science fiction Author, Daffyd Ab Hugh discusses SF

Another great post from Dafydd:

http://biglizards.net/blog/archives/201 ... ntain.html

Wherein he discusses science fiction, politics and big corporations. I'm not sure he is completely correct except in his assessment of big corporations. He also misses the reason why big corporations act the way they do. The problem is that big corporations draw their leadership by and large from the same talent pool that big government does, the Ivy Covered Snob Factories, which tends to create thought patterns along the same progressive tracks.

e-book readers are down to about 150 for bare bones models. I think you could get them down a bit more, but I was surprised.

Do keep in mind though that these are not Kindles--no wireless, generally lower quality screens, but they're out there, and cheap. I'm seriously looking at getting one now that I see how much more is available.
