How could someone SO educated be an Anarchist ? I would really like to hear his reasoning for this.

He is an anarchist. Where did anything lead you to believe he was a libertarian or a Libertarian? I know in politics making stuff up is popular but aren't we supposed to be a tad above that? Small government is not the same as no government. And in any case most anarchists are of the socialist/communist variety. At least in the 1930s.
