Another thing I vaguely recall reading was a paper by Nebel at a conference in Japan a year or two ago. In it breakeven radius for polywell was described as 1.3 meters. If that recollection is correct, and the paper dug up with the formula used, it could be compared with the one used to come up with a breakeven radius of 13 meters.
