Re: WARNING sign
Deadly Night Shade - no need to mention plants
Dark Energy - coffee works for me
Quarks -
Neutron Bombardment - build any fusors lately, well there are always cosmics
Cosmic Rays
Possible Water Intoxication - an interesting one - look it up it can kill you
Titanium Paints
Sodium Chloride
Trouble is you might get a visit from the EPA with all the listing of hazards and biohazards which is why you might not want to mention
Organic Cyanide
Organic Formaldehyde etc.

Re: WARNING sign
Such wholesome fun.
Might I add:
Exhibit B - Shovel that was leaning against Exhibit A
Exhibit C - The vast yard behind Exhibit A in which Exhibit B appeared to be used numerous times in. So many times, we are not sure we looked everywhere.
Exhibit D - The firearm mentioned in Exhibit A.
These three additional items are staged by my friend whenever a "young man" comes to call upon his incredibly beautiful (and absolutely adorable from the age of newborn) daughter.

Re: WARNING sign
A recent visit to a public facility reminded me to add a few, tweaked for our place.
With rocks roots, holes, etc. I should add WATER.
A warning that walkways may be uneven and slippery when wet reminds me ...
WALKWAYS, IF YOU CAN EVEN FIND THEM, ARE UNEVEN
SLIPPERY WHEN WET
The Master Gardener raises nightshades, but not even lawyers get excited about tomatoes and potatoes. One hazard conspicuously and blessedly absent from our place is poison ivy. The mountain laurel, though, is deadly.

Warning: Scary Place!
Warning: Imaginary Dangers! (nothing dangerous like fear itself)

Counting the days to commercial fusion. It is not that long now.
Re: WARNING sign
A friend of mine, Lucki M. Wilder, runs a site called the Abiding Blog. One of her favorite topics is stupid commercials, and she and I tend to see eye-to-eye on stupid commercials. She's run a couple of my comments on this business of scary, and using fear to sell.

Re: WARNING sign
Not a sign, just the yellow ribbon that says 'Police Line, do not cross'. Maybe have a cardboard cutout of a cop in the background.

I like "Beware of The Leopard" myself.
Re: WARNING sign
We saw something around here about ten years ago.
A sign posted on someone's very high wooden fence.
Not too far from the driveway.
All text center justified.
Line 1: Private Property
Line 2: <Drawing of a revolver in profile. Pointing to the right.>
Line 3: No Trespassing
Line 4: Survivors will be prosecuted
Line 5: to the fullest extent of the law
We thought this was funny, but wondered how the FedEx person should react.

I prefer hydrogen hydroxide.
But this is in West Virginia where we have simple country folks, most of whom are pretty sure water is not intended as a beverage.

Re: WARNING sign
There are a lot of gun-related no-trespassing signs out there. Not sure if they are cute or scarey, which is, of course, the point. The problem with using them in West Virginia is that the whole population is comfortable with firearms and are more likely to consider them cute. But lawyers and courthouses make them run away and hide.
I'm actually not trying to keep people out, but just stating that if you come on my property and get hurt, well, you've been warned.
