diff eqs for info transfer in particle interactions

Post by happyjack27 »

This has been in underlying theme in my physics thoughts. In order to construct better predictive models, we need to understand how information flows in the physical world. By information i mean information theory - bits. By flow let me give an example. Two particles passing by each other will alter each others trajectory, thus exchanging info they have about the position and momenta of other particles. That information exchange can be broken down into 16 information entropy equations, as shown by a 4-term Venn diagram such as below. The terms are - on the left particle a at time t and particle a at time t+dt, and on the right, the same for particle b. the Venn diagram shows mutual information.

Now to do this one must construct a partition function. The partition function should be based on what is measurable, so that's electric charge and change in electric charge in space.

So I figure, construct the partition function, construct the entropy equation, simplify... And now you have a basis for an entirely new way to look at and work with the physical world.
