Um, is that not a trivial intro physics problem? What equation?

Its often surprising how difficult a seemingly simple problem can be. The traveling salesman problem is a good example too.

I have searched around and found what exactly he was doing: drag force (proportional to velocity squared) and uniform gravitational acceleration. And after some others reviewing it apparently it actually has been "solved" before. And by solved, he has a series solution.
