Are they really that stupid. Do they really think that if even China cannot control it in their own borders the progressives in the US can? Just one more example of how out of sync they are with reality.

I've found the 'reality-based' crowd usually hasn't a clue about reality outside their own heads. They've no idea what it takes to get them their creature comforts, think Wal-Mart is the epitomie of evil, and look down on everyone who doesn't believe as they do.

So naturally they think the government can run the internet better.

Ah, yeah. Sure.

Reality is an unforgiving bitch, who really doesn't give a darn how good your intentions or motivations are, or how correct your friends think your ideology is. Results are all that matters, and the law of unintended consequences ALWAYS applies.
