Now I know why I've been hoarding that old Peltier device. I did jury-rig an ice box with it that kept an ice pack and my lunches cold from Virginia to San Diego when I went out there to work for EMC2 ... 4 days and the ice pack was still frozen.

I might not need to cascade it.
