It's looking positive for Republicans so far but the next 8-9 months are an eternity in politics. It appears as though the R's will gain seats and maybe get the House but not the Senate. If you're a Democrat, that can be good news considering the health care controversy. If HC passes, the Democrats will lose worse. Especially, if no perceived pivot to jobs is undertaken by the White House.
What's more interesting is the 2012 landscape where over 20 Democratic senators are up for reelection. If the President doesn't pivot to the center ala Bill Clinton, a massacre is brewing on Nov.6, 2012.
