A look at the supply and demand question. I'm reading it and will report when I have something to say.

I've found this to be useful in the past:

For no other reason than giving a glance at the big picture.

Props MSimon. WithoutHotAir is a good book, and the guy behind is is a good guy (if a bit liberal for your tastes).
Science is what we have learned about how not to fool ourselves about the way the world is.

Josh,

I have been having an e-mail conversation with him. I pointed out that all we have to prove CO2 is a LARGE climate driver is correlation which is not causation.

There are confounding variables:

1. Ocean Circulation
2. Solar (Svensmark)
3. Others I'm not aware of
4. As yet unknowns

I pointed out that with the above and with the melt down of the IPCC and the break down of "settled" science he was unwise to tie his book to CO2. Well you know he got all huffy.

Oh. Well. If he keeps his opening oriented to CO2 instead of energy supplies (and the usual - we will run out real soon now) he is ruining his credibility. I told him so. Well naturally I have not heard back.

Why coal use is going up:

Now the USA could do something about this by pumping more oil in the market. But we have Democrats running the Congress and when it comes to economics they are none too bright.

A Democrat tells Democrats how economically illiterate they are:

Amusing. If you like seeing Democrats tortured and abused by a Democrat. The video is less than 3 minutes. I laugh out loud every time I hear it. It is very believable because he argues against interest.
